Simple Token is the recommended token type for use with Raydium's Burn & Earn and Meteora's Lock & Earn programmes. It features no buy or sell tax, making it fully compatible with these fee mechanisms and ensuring smooth, frictionless trading for your community. If you're planning to launch a token and take advantage of these earn features, Simple Token is the ideal starting point

  • Token Type: Choose from our available token types. For this guide, ensure Simple Token is selected

  • Token Name: The full name of your token, for example, Bitcoin, Ethereum, or your own unique project name

  • Token Symbol: The abbreviated ticker for your token, usually 3–5 characters, for example, BTC for Bitcoin or GEMS for GemPad

  • Token Decimal: Defines how many decimal places your token supports. We recommend 9 decimals for a total supply of 2 billion or under, and 6 decimals for supplies exceeding 2 billion

  • Total Supply: The maximum number of tokens that will ever exist, typically set in the millions or billions

  • Mutable Authority: Check this box if you want to update your token metadata after creation

  • Logo URL: A direct image URL for your project logo. Upload your image at postimages.orgarrow-up-right to generate a URL. We recommend 100x100px, though other sizes will be resized automatically

  • Upload Logo: Alternatively, upload your logo directly as a file

  • Website (optional): Your project's official website URL

  • Twitter (optional): Your Twitter/X profile URL

  • Telegram (optional): Your Telegram community invite link

  • Tags (optional): Choose between Meme, Solana and Orca

  • Description (optional): Describe your token in detail. No character limit

Generate Custom Vanity Address (+1 SOL): Check this box if you would like to choose the last four characters of your token's address and follow the steps below

  • Step 1:

    • In the Vanity Suffix box, enter the characters you want your token's address to end with

    • Click Generate

  • Step 2:

    • Make sure you have the correct characters in the Suffix box

    • The Number of Threads box controls how much of your device's processing power is used, we recommend leaving this at the default

    • Click Generate to begin

  • Step 3:

    • Once you have clicked Generate, the process will continue until it finds an address matching your chosen suffix, or until you click Stop

  • Step 4:

    • Your generated address will appear in this box

    • Once you are happy with it, continue with the Token Creation
