Market ID Creation for V4 Raydium sales via Openbook

To list your token, you need to create something called a "market ID" - think of it like registering your token for trading. You'll need at least 3 SOL in your wallet to do this, because if your SOL balance is inefficient your transaction may fail and you may only be charged a fee

If your token has 6 decimals, then max setting for min order size and price tick is 3/2

Before You Start

  • Make sure you have at least 3 SOL in your wallet

  • Have your token's address ready which can be found on your sales page here

Steps to Create Market ID

Step 1: Access Dexlab's Service

  • Go to Dexlab's market ID creation site herearrow-up-right

  • Stay on the 'Create Market ID' tab (don't switch to 'New Token')

Step 2: Enter Token Information

  1. Enter your token's mint address in "Base Mint"

  2. For "Quote Mint", choose one of these addresses:

    • For USDC: EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v

    • For USDT: Es9vMFrzaCERmJfrF4H2FYD4KCoNkY11McCe8BenwNYB

    • For Wrapped SOL: So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112

Step 3: Set Trading Parameters

  1. Set Minimum Order Size:

    • For orders down to 0.0001 units β†’ set to 4

    • For whole unit (1) orders only β†’ set to 0

    • For orders down to 0.1 units β†’ set to 1

  2. Set Price Tick (decimal places for price):

    • For prices like 1.12345 β†’ set to 5

    • For prices like 1.1234 β†’ set to 4

Step 4: Double Check Requirements

Make sure:

  • Minimum order size is not larger than your token's decimals

  • Price tick is not larger than the paired token's decimals

  • Minimum order size + Price tick combined is not larger than the paired token's decimals Example: If pairing with USDC (6 decimals):

    • Good: 3 (min order) + 2 (price tick) = 5 βœ“

    • Bad: 4 (min order) + 4 (price tick) = 8 βœ—

Step 5: Create Market ID

  • Confirm you have at least 3 SOL

  • Execute the transaction

  • Save your market ID information

  • Copy the market address provided after creation

Step 6: Finalize Your Sale

  1. Return to your sales page

  2. Click the "Finalize Sale" button

  3. A box will appear asking for the Market ID

  4. Paste the market address you copied into this box

  5. Click finalize

  6. Confirm the transaction in your wallet
