How To Guide

  1. To get started click on this

2. Fill out the following token details:
  • Token Type: Choose from our three token types. For this guide make sure to have "Tax Token" selected.

  • Token Name: This is the name of the token you are creating. For example, Bitcoin, Ethereum, or your own unique name.

  • Token Symbol: This is the abbreviation or short form of your token name. It is often a few characters long, like BTC for Bitcoin or GEMS for GemPad.

  • Token Decimal: This is the maximum amount the token can be divided by. If the supply of your token will be 2 billion or less we recommend a token decimal of 9, if it is more than 2 billion we recommend a token decimal of 6.

  • Total Supply: This is the maximum number of tokens that will ever exist for your token. It can be any number, but it's usually in the millions or billions.

  • Total Tax: This is the total percentage charged on every transaction (including transfers). It is capped at 20%.

  • Fee Distribution Period (min): How frequently accumulated tax is automatically sent to your designated wallets, measured in minutes. Minimum is 5 minutes, maximum is 300 minutes (5 hours).

  • Swap At (Token Supply %): The maximum percentage of total token supply that will be swapped for SOL in a single transaction. This prevents large sales that could negatively impact the token price. Default is 0.01%.

  • Fee Distribution Wallets: Enter the wallet address that will receive tax distributions. You can add multiple wallets with different allocation percentages.

  • Tax Distribution (%): The percentage of total collected tax that this specific wallet will receive. All wallet percentages must add up to 100%.

  • Add Wallet: Click to add additional wallets for tax distribution. Each wallet requires both an address and a distribution percentage.

  • Mutable Authority: Check this box to allow the project owner to update the token's metadata (name, symbol, image, etc.) after creation.

  • Fee Authority: Check this box to allow the project owner to modify the transfer fee percentage after the token is created.

3. Fill out the below details:
  • Logo URL: This is where the logo for your project goes. It must be a URL which you can get by uploaded your image on https://postimages.org/ (We recommend using the dimensions 100x100 for the logo, but it resizes, so it doesn’t have to be exact).

  • Upload your Logo here: This is where you can upload your logo as a file.

  1. Click "Create Token" and confirm the transaction. Then the contract address for your token will be shown on screen.
